It occurs when you injure, burn, or get something in your eye that shouldn’t be there. Some examples of eye emergencies are:
If you are experiencing pain, sudden vision loss, infection due to something in your eye that shouldn’t be there, eye pain, or red eyes; seek urgent eye care.
If you are experiencing an eye emergency, we encourage you to seek urgent eye care the same day the issue starts. If urgent eye care is required, we can see you that same day.
